Every year, examinations are conducted for 4th and 7th grade students.
These examinations are intended to test students beyond their textbook skills.
The examination features objective type of questions, which are based on the syllabus prescribed by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations.

While the scholarship examination is a state level activity, NTS (National Talent scheme) scheme has been the flagship activity of NCERT for quite some time.

These examinations are conducted by the Government (or concerned agency) to select apt candidates for various clerical posts in Banks & Railway department.
The candidate’s analytical as well as logical skills are tested in these examinations along with the questions on current affairs (and general knowledge).
These examinations are set in English medium as these examinations are for Nationalised Banks and Indian Railways.
